What’s a song you’re using to help with heartbreak or sadness?

ohhh hmmm uhm/. coyote stories the crane wives (whole album). most anything on odie leighs discography. idk

i've got a few!!

anything too silly for me to feel sad listening to it. "bring it all back" "get back up again" and "kitchen without gun" of all things get me through a lot of breakdowns.

if i just wanna feel sad for a bit then move on, i'll listen to mitski. my favourite songs of hers are "a burning hill," "a pearl" and "first love / late spring." they're the best to cry to.

TW : sui mentions

good to be alive by tmbg makes me cry a lot . it was especially bad when i had attempted and failed . i'm thankful i did , it's good to be alive

I don't have one since I don't feel really bad a lot of the time and even when I do, I don't typically treat it with music. But, those songs would probably be: Baby Blue, On a Rail 3, Power Up, or Tide Goes out.
I remember thinking "Yep, I've fucked Highschool, there's no way I'm graduating." All I could listen to was Baby Blue as I'm here thinking "Welp, it's over."
(Surprisingly, it was not over! I got a second chance and did not let it go to waste. Graduated and I'm not doing anything with it yet lol.)

maybe not heartbreak, but sadness, and just getting the will to deal with poor circumstances in general.
