Have you ever "come out" to anyone irl about your para/s?

If so, how’d it go? I feel like some of us could benefit from some irl support but are too scared to do it even to those we genuinely trust

i don't think i've ever come out of my own volition. my family has always known i'm weird, so even when i was doxxed & ppl contacted them, they weren't surprised. i didn't try to lie or cover anything up, so they're definitely aware i'm a zoo. it's not something we discuss too often but everyone seems to understand that i've felt this way since childhood and they accept that it's a part of me.
