And how about Doom deathmatches? :3 If you haven't tried it then I recommend Zandronum and Odamex! Zdaemon is also good but my least fav out of the three

Played a bit, can't get source ports to work so I used the rerelease version and it's not bad. Not as good as Quake's DM, especially in the netcode. I can see gameplay being worse since not being 3D eliminates a lot of map design options and gameplay choices, sure, makes sense. But the Doom rerelease came out after the Quake rerelease so I don't know how they fucked that up.
80 ping in Quake DM is probably equal to like... 20 in Doom. The fuck.
