I hope Matt Gaetz doesn't get confirmed for Attorney General, as he is not qualified for the job and is part of MAGA which wants to burn down the country.

On principle, I disagree with the media uproar and potential criminal charges regarding his alleged consensual sexual relationship with a 17-year-old girl, as no one has the right to tell others what they can and can't do with their own bodies. However, if his relationship with her was coerced, I would no longer support this position.

I also disagree with any criminal charges regarding his alleged drug use, for the same reason... no one has the right to tell others what they can and can't do with their own bodies. However, he was and maybe once again will be in a position of power and trust, so I would hope there are policies in place to be sure that substance use doesn't negatively interfere with his ability to do the job.

While I disagree with the media uproar and criminal charges on principle, for the sake of our country, I hope this scandal ends his prospects for Attorney General or any position of power and trust.
