Oh I meant to answer this before and totally forgot about it…

It was a horrible day, but it was the best day because its the day we became free. The day our codependency broke. The day I realized our partnerships were Not working and I had to pull away and do the difficult healing on my own, with support from friends.

That changed our life drastically, and in amazing ways. I’ve discovered passions I never knew were as strong as they are, I became confident, I learned how to make more friends, how to handle conflict productively, a lot of stuff. I learned to love myself and my life, and I have my own sense of purpose.
